ADHD Coaching is a dynamic partnership between coach and client.. ADHD Coaching helps people with ADHD identify, understand and master the different aspects of their ADHD such as time insensitivity, disorganization and emotional dysregulation. Clients lead the process by deciding what areas of their lives they want to focus on, deciding on which action to take while being supported by their coach, and implementing change. The ADHD coach assists in this process by listening, encouraging, challenging, asking thought-provoking questions, and contributing knowledge about ADHD.

Stacey Machelle is an ADHD Life Coach trained through ADDCA. Stacey is the creator, writer, and host of the YouTube Channel “ADHD is the New Black,” where she raises awareness about ADHD in Black women, women of color, and all Colorful People. Because of the positive impact and reach of ADHD in the new Black, she was presented the “Early Influencer Award” by CHADD at the 2022 International Conference on ADHD. Stacey’s energy and gift for communication, connection, and encouragement were developed during her years as an on-air news anchor, comedy writer, and standup comedian. Her ability to see the humor in pain became her coping mechanism for getting fired from 17 waitressing jobs in NYC during a five-year period due to “poor organizational skills.” Thanks, ADHD! Stacey is committed to helping her clients grow in their knowledge of ADHD and using that knowledge to become capable of doing anything to which they set their minds.

Kristy Powers (she/her) is an ADHD Life Coach residing in the suburbs of Vancouver, BC. As an ADHDer, she brings that experience with being in the arena and raising Neurodivergent children. Kristy sees herself as one of the ‘lost generation’ of women who were missed as a child because she didn’t show up like the stigma (aka. hyperactive boy bouncing around) and did well in school. Fun fact: She was initially a client of Dusty’s and felt the impact firsthand that coaching made in her life. She’s grateful for her transition with Dusty from coach to friend & mentor and her support in becoming a coach. It’s been two years since she began working with Dusty, and she loves that she can co-create that same impact now with her clients.
